About FCI
FCI Technical Installations Inc was founded by Brian Fitzgerald in 1988, and incorporated in 1996, to support the broadcast industry. It was under his leadership that FCI built its reputation as the premier broadcast installation company in the industry.
In January 2022 FCI came under new ownership and partnered with Johnson AV. As a team we remain committed to the vision of excellence in broadcast installations. We continue to deliver high quality work for our customers.
Currently we have ongoing projects with several national broadcasters including on site support, TV & radio station upgrades, content processing infrastructure build outs & installation of new master controls, edit suites and more.
We’ve also recently worked on projects for post production facilities, recording studios, in-house broadcast systems, sporting arenas and eSports venues.
Local projects are the Greater Toronto Area & Ottawa’s National Capital Region. We will travel to you and more importantly we will build, box, & ship directly from our workshop.
We’ve built numerous broadcast systems for near “plug ‘n play” on site experiences that shipped out from our facility in Toronto.

Installation of copper & fiber cabling, rack building & wiring, mechanical assembly & custom solutions for radio stations, TV studios, master controls, video walls, edit suites, production, post productions facilities, live venues, mobile trucks, data centers and more.
We build systems in our shop and ship it out directly to your site. We’ll then travel out to complete the on site work or ensure it’s a simple install for your team. Proven track record of success for new TV and radio station builds.
We have teams on site 52 weeks a year at our clients broadcast sites for ongoing routine maintenance, station upgrades, moves, adds, changes to current set ups. We provide broadcast installers, wiring teams and more technical support as needed.
